Advance Directive An Advance directive are instructions given by individuals that set forth specific actions that should be taken for their health if these persons are no longer able to make decisions because of sickness or incapacity, and appoints an individual to make these decisions on thier behalf. Also known as living will, personal directive, advance directive, or advance decision.
